"Two Hundred Dan" tea originated in 1953 and refers to two hundred dan (a traditional unit of weight) of high-quality Anhua dark tea from Gao Ma Er Xi. Gao Ma Er Xi is located in the core production area of Anhua dark tea, and its tea leaves have long been renowned as "naturally superior raw material," producing tea of exceptional quality. "Two Hundred Dan" tea is meticulously crafted using premium raw materials from Gao Ma Er Xi and traditional processing techniques.
"Two Hundred Dan" dark tea has a tightly rolled, uniform strip-like appearance, with a deep, ink-black color and a faint reddish-brown sheen. The tea leaves are finely textured, smooth as jade, and exude a natural, sturdy elegance, with even thickness and no impurities or broken leaves. When brewed, the tea soup is clear and bright, emitting a subtle ripe aroma. As the number of infusions increases, the sweetness and richness of the tea gradually become more pronounced. Upon the first sip, the tea's natural sweetness is immediately noticeable, followed by a mellow and full-bodied taste. Additionally, it carries a delicate, long-lasting fragrance of fungal notes, honey, and camphorwood, creating a unique and layered aromatic profile.
