Jin Jun Mei is a premium variety of Zhengshan Xiaozhong black tea, originating from Tongmu Village, Wuyishan City, Fujian Province. This region is the birthplace of black tea in the world, boasting unique natural environments and climatic conditions.
The production process of Jin Jun Mei is extremely meticulous and entirely handmade by skilled tea makers. It selects fresh tea buds from the high-mountain, eco-friendly Xiaozhong tea plants within the Wuyi Mountain National Nature Reserve as its raw material. The production of 500 grams of Jin Jun Mei requires tens of thousands of fresh tea bud tips, making it extremely precious.
The dry Jin Jun Mei tea leaves are small and tightly twisted, with a color mix of gold, yellow, and black. When brewed, the tea liquor is golden yellow and translucent, with a faint yet sweet honey aroma. The taste is fresh, sweet, and refreshing, leaving a lingering aftertaste. It blends natural floral and fruity notes with honey aroma, possessing both the mellow flavor of black tea and a unique freshness.
