Huangguanyin Black Tea is produced in Anxi County, Yunxiao Town, Fujian Province. Nestled in the Wuyi Mountains, the area boasts picturesque scenery, a pleasant climate, and an annual frost-free period of up to 272 days. The soil, primarily red and yellow-red in type, provides exceptional conditions for tea tree growth.
Huangguanyin is a newly cultivated variety resulting from the artificial crossing of Tieguanyin and Huangjingui. Its tea leaves are tightly twisted, with a dark and glossy or dark green hue. The leaves are thick and have a distinct oily sheen. The tea liquor is orange-yellow and clear, with a yellow-bright and soft leaf base, featuring green leaves with red edges. Upon tasting, the tea liquor is mellow and full-bodied, with a soft and smooth mouthfeel. It is sweet without being greasy, with floral and fruity flavors that are refreshing and fragrant. Additionally, Huangguanyin is rich in various nutrients such as tea polyphenols, catechins, flavonoids, amino acids, and vitamin C, all of which offer numerous health benefits to humans.
